I have been about 20 pounds overweight most of my life. Since having my first child 12 years ago, that average increased to about 60 pounds overweight. As each year passed, my weight kept creeping up and up. I have always been active, but nothing seemed to have any kind of significant or lasting impact on my weight or overall fitness. I have tried many diet programs, and many exercise programs (mostly one to three days per week) including yoga, Pilates, weight training, step aerobics, body sculpting and walking 10,000 steps per day.
